Murano Glass Earrings Unique Murano glass earrings! These earrings where created from mouth blown glass created on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy where some of the world’s finest art glass has been created for centuries.

Baltic amber inlaid pendant Rich earth tones combine to create this gorgeous pendant. This pendant has inlaid pieces of Baltic amber in shades of yellow, brown, green, and cream. It looks great worn with earth tones and this versatile pendant could be worn with casual clothing or dress clothes. The inlaid Baltic amber oval is surrounded in a fancy sterling silver setting that showcases the amber beautifully. Between the amber and a thin oval of silver that wraps around the pendant there is a thin opening that allows a little of the wearers skin tone or what ever is being worn underneath to show through. It also features a large bail that works well with most chains or cords. The inlaid Baltic amber oval pendant measures approximately 2.2” tall including the bail (loop for chain) on top by 1.25” across.

What does Murano glass mean? Murano glass is art glass that comes from an island in the Venetian lagoon known for master glassmaking. Glass making in the area dates back to the seventh century. Glassmakers have been on the Venetian lagoon since 1291, when the Venetian republic ordered the glassmakers to move their foundries because of the fire danger to Venice 's wooden buildings. Many families on Murano have been blowing glass for generations! When you buy Murano glass you can rest assured that you are getting some of the finest art glass available.

Our store also offers Baltic amber jewelry. Several styles of Baltic amber jewelry feature sterling silver. Styles include traditional cognac (brown) amber but also contain, green amber, yellow amber, and cherry amber. Some of our most popular pieces include green, cognac, and yellow amber!
